Creve Coeur Coronavirus Update

COVID-19 Information

The City of Creve Coeur is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 outbreak as it develops and is taking precautions for the safety of our city staff and citizens. As the public health situation continues to evolve, you can find up-to-date information regarding city policies and services below:

  • Government Center  The Government Center lobby is currently open for in-person business. Visitors are encouraged to wear cloth face coverings when entering the building. Front counters and high-touch surfaces are being sanitized frequently, and hand sanitizer is available in public spaces. As an alternative, visitors also have the option to utilize the front vestibule to pick up permits, drop off building plans, purchase yard waste bags, and other city business.
  • Parks & Recreation – The Creve Coeur Ice Arena is open with a limited schedule. The Creve Coeur Golf Course, city parks and trails are currently open, however the splash pad in Millennium Park and all park playgrounds are closed. Community meeting rooms, the multipurpose room, and the gym are currently closed through Tuesday, June 30. All recreation programs, activities, events and rentals (regardless of size) are canceled through at least Tuesday, June 30.
  • Police Department – The CCPD remains a 24/7 operation under any and all working conditions (Emergency: 911 / Non-Emergency: 314-737-4600). Vehicle accidents that do not have injuries nor require a tow may instead be handled via telephone. Public access to the police station will also be limited, including the suspension of prescription drop-offs and fingerprinting.
  • Public Meetings – City Council meetings and all board, committee and commission meetings are being held by videoconference or teleconference until further notice. Board, committee and commission meetings are subject to cancellation during this time. Please check the city calendar for the most up-to-date meeting information.
  • City Services – The limb collection program is continuing as scheduled. Building inspectors have adjusted procedures to limit the amount of time spent in a residence and to allow submitted photos instead of on-site inspections for minor work.
  • Municipal Court – While the court office is open for limited business, the office remains closed for in-person contact pursuant to Missouri Supreme Court Order. Beginning July 8, 2020, Municipal Court Sessions (Court Dates) will be held in Zoom format.

The above information is subject to change as this is a developing situation. Any updates to city policies or services will be communicated through various channels, including the City website.
