Now is time to safely dispose of unwanted or unused prescription medications. The Creve Coeur Police Department is joining forces again with other area agencies to participate in the Drug Enforcement Administration Prescription
Drug Take-Back Day is Saturday, October 28. Police officers will be on hand from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Creve Coeur Police Department parking lot (rear parking lot). Residents can drop off their prescription drugs from their vehicle with no questions asked.
In addition to prescription or over-the-counter medications, the Police Department will also be accepting veterinary drugs, inhalers, medication containers and pre-loaded syringes as long as the needles are removed. Needles of any kind will not be accepted. It is not necessary to remove labels from containers and vials.
