Creve Coeur Partners with Nextdoor for Crime Prevention and Alerts

The Creve Coeur Police Department wishes to announce a partnership with Nextdoor (www.nextdoor.com), the free and private social network for neighborhoods. With Nextdoor, the Creve Coeur Police Department will be able to send out important crime alerts, details regarding public safety events, timely crime prevention tips and updates on activity affecting our neighborhoods. Residents and law enforcement officials will be able to work together to increase safety and strengthen their sense of community.

“Having the ability to easily communicate with residents is extremely vital to not only maintaining, but also increasing safety and reducing crime within our city,” said Lt. Henry Francis, commander of the Community Oriented Police and Problem Solving Division. “With Nextdoor, we can help empower neighbors to keep their communities safe and connected and give them the ability to collaborate on virtual neighborhood watch efforts.”

For questions about our Nextdoor partnership, contact the Creve Coeur Police Department Crime Prevention officer at crimeprevention@crevecoeurmo.gov or (314) 442-2075.
