Creve
Coeur Dog Park

The
dog park is a 2.5 acre fenced-in area located in the northeast
section of Conway Park (immediately west of I-270 at 12301 Conway
Road). The entrance to the dog park is a ¼ mile north of the
Conway Park parking area.
Registration
The
Creve Coeur Dog Park is open to registered members. Both resident
and non-resident memberships are currently available at the following
rates:
Resident
Annual Dues
First
dog = $30
Each
additional dog = $15
Non-Resident
Annual Dues
First
dog = $80
Each
additional dog = $25
Effective
July 1st,
the above dues are discounted to half price for the remainder of the
calendar year.
All memberships purchased for the current calendar year expire on
December 31.
Memberships
can be purchased at the Creve Coeur Government Center (300 North New
Ballas Rd., between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday).
Please
remember to bring proof of your dog's current rabies and bordatella
(kennel cough) vaccinations and proof of spayed/neutered status.
Park
Rules
The
following regulations shall apply at the Creve Coeur Dog Park:
1.
Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries or
damages caused by their dogs.
2.
All dogs must be spayed or neutered.
3.
Dog feces (and/or dog waste) must be cleaned up and properly disposed
of by owners immediately.
4.
All dogs must be on a leash until inside the fenced area.
5.
Dog owners must carry a leash at all times, closely supervise their
dogs and at no time may the owner leave the fenced area without
his/her dog.
6.
Gates must be closed except when entering or exiting the off-leash
area.
7.
Dogs must wear a current Creve Coeur Dog Park tag and current rabies
vaccination tags.
8.
Dogs must be under voice control at all times 9. Owners must stop
dogs from digging and must fill any holes caused by their dogs.
10.
Pinch, spike and choke collars must be removed prior to entering the
fenced off-leash area.
11.
No children under ten (10) years of age allowed; older children must
be under adult supervision. Dog handlers/owners must be 16 years of
age.
12.
No one may conduct any kind of commercial or professional business in
the dog park without approval from the City.
13.
No climbing on or over the fence.
14.
No smoking or tobacco use inside the fenced area.
The
following are not allowed in the fenced area of the dog park:
1.
Dogs in heat
2.
Aggressive dogs or dangerous dogs as defined in the Municipal Code
Dogs that are ill or injured.
3.
Puppies under six months of age
4.
Animals other than dogs
5.
Alcoholic beverages, food, dog treats, rawhide or glass containers
6.
Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates or blades, or any motorized
vehicles, except wheelchairs
The
word "owner" applies to the adult person accompanying the
dog(s).
A
dog owner who fails to comply with the above rules may be asked to
leave the dog park and may have their membership revoked.
