Bob Hoffman has been a resident of Creve Coeur for more than 35 years, residing in the Ladue Pines subdivision at 212 Ladue Oaks Drive. He was appointed to City Council on October 11, 2010, to fill a vacated seat and has since been re-elected.
He has previously served for 9 years on the Police Committee, completing his term as chair of the committee. More recently, Bob was a member of the Planning & Zoning Commission. In 2000, Bob was awarded the Chief’s Award from the Neighborhood Watch Association for his work in passing Missouri’s first bike helmet safety law.
Bob’s community affiliations include past-president of Solomon Schechter Day School, past chair of the J.C.C. Preschool Committee, past board member of the J.C.C., St. Louis County Athletic Association and B'nai Amoona Congregation.
A retired pediatrician, Bob was previously in practice with Washington University Clinical Associates-Northwest Pediatrics LLC. He received a B.S. from the University of Illinois and a M.D. from St. Louis University School of Medicine. Bob is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Bob has been married to his wife, Barbara, for over 45 years. They have three adult children, David, Jenny and Jonathan, and six grandchildren.
